Most van builds treat the sleeping area as a static 54" x 70" block that does nothing but hold a mattress. This layout reclaims that real estate by turning the Modular Bed System into the most versatile tool in your rig.
Whether you need a dedicated office for a 9-to-5 on the road, a four-person dining area for post-trail hangouts, or a rugged workbench for gear repairs, this build handles it all. By pairing our bed panels with table and bench leg kits, your "bedroom" is now your dining room, your office, and your outdoor patio.
Why This Layout Works
- The Ultimate Multi-Tool: Use the 4-panel system as a standard sleeping surface at night. During the day, pop a panel onto a set of legs to create an indoor picnic table between the 22" Wheel Well Covers.
- Outdoor Adventure Table: The versatility doesn’t stop at the sliding door. Using the leg kits, you can take a panel outside to serve as a free-standing adventure table for camp cooking or a gear staging area.
- Massive, Lightweight Storage: Because VWC aluminum is significantly lighter than wood, we’ve outfitted this 144" with 42" and 16" Upper Cabinets and a 20" Microwave Cabinet. You get maximum storage capacity without making the van unnecessarily top-heavy.
